Westin Bonaventure Hotel and Suites

Easily recognized by its cylindrical mirrored towers, the Westin Bonaventure Hotel and Suites has been a favorite of Hollywood directors who love to showcase its futuristic elegance. Cases in point: Escape from LA (1996), the 1995 virtual reality flick Strange Days, Alien Nation (1988), as well as sci-fi series like Logan's Run and Buck Rogers in the 25th Century. Watch Arnold Schwarzenegger riding a horse into a Bonaventure elevator in a spectacular chase scene from James Cameron's True Lies (1994).
