LIVE to view Face The Music, a photography exhibit showcasing 41 legendary musicians including Dee Dee Bridgewater, Michael Bublé, Kenny Burrell, Sheryl Crow, Gustavo Dudamel, Quincy Jones, Iggy Pop, RZA, Esperanza Spalding, Ringo Starr, and many more. The exhibit features the work of photographer Richard Ehrlich, who captured close-up facial expressions of artists listening to their favorite songs.

You notice it’s nearing dinner, so you head back towards The Bloc to pick up something new to wear for your first night in the city. You think about getting a drink at the newly opened Joey DTLA, the massive restaurant located adjacent to the hotel. You decide you'll save Joey for dinner tomorrow and head to the Sheraton's lobby and settle in at the Hope Street Bar. You opt for a Martini (gin and stirred, of course) and don’t even bother trying to suppress your smile as you sip your way through the classic cocktail. You feel alive and invigorated, and can’t wait for the night to begin.
After dropping off your bags and a quick change of clothes, it’s time for a farm-to-table dinner at District on the Bloc, where you take your time choosing from the Carving Board selection of meats - from "Ugly Ribs" to house-smoked beef brisket to Korean-style pork belly. There's even a vegan option, grilled curry-crusted cauliflower "steak."
Sufficiently full but far from sleepy, you’re ready to take in the nightlife of the city. Just a few blocks away, at the Library Bar, you’re reminded again of why you love cities so much. Where else but in the heart of the city could you drink on couches, surrounded by books, all while a DJ spins?
After finishing your cocktail, you’re ready to dance and Elevate Lounge is just a block away. On the 21st floor, you find spectacular city views, modern urban decor, and a dance floor waiting for you. Soon enough, night turns into a new day, and you find yourself feeling simultaneously exhilarated and exhausted.
