LA 2024 Unveils Stunning Images of the Los Angeles Summer Olympics
LA 2024 has released a series of stunning renderings and virtual venue tours that showcase its innovative city-wide concept for the 2024 Summer Olympics. Instead of a traditional single “Olympic Park,” LA 2024 proposes four Sports Parks in Downtown Los Angeles, the San Fernando Valley, the South Bay and Long Beach.
The four integrated Sports Parks include world-class existing, planned and temporary venues such as a newly renovated Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum, along with STAPLES Center, USC Galen Center, UCLA Pauley Pavilion, The Forum, StubHub Center and the Rose Bowl. The San Fernando Valley, Los Angeles Harbor, and L.A.'s famous beaches will also host several sports.
Each of the Sports Parks will include dining, music, sponsor activations, sports showcases and celebration Live Sites for event and non-event ticket holders to enjoy.
LA 2024 Chairman Casey Wasserman said, “L.A. is the right choice for 2024 because our city can host the Games without having to build any new permanent venues or an Olympic and Paralympic Village. I am thrilled to share these virtual tours of our world-class venues, to demonstrate how LA 2024 is prepared to offer the lowest-risk and sustainable solution for the future of the Olympic Movement, and an unforgettable Olympic festival experience for everyone in 2024.”
